Take part in a Community Harvest!

We’re so happy to partner with Cottonmill and Nunnery Allotment Association and St Albans Community Pantry on this Community Harvest project. We’ve provided a trolley to share surplus produce with our community. It’s got pride of place at the new Cottonmill Community and Cycling Centre.

Drop off washed and labelled fruit and veg to the trolley. If you drop between Monday and Thursday, you’ll be especially helping the key foodbanks on those days. Let us know if you make something nice with anything you’ve taken from the trolley as well!

Autumn Festival

Celebrate the changing of the seasons with us!

List of activities at the Autumn Festival

Lots of free activities to do at Sopwell’s Autumn Festival: songs, competitions, hearty soup made with local ingredients (and big thanks to St Albans’ Waitrose for their pumpkin donation) and more. Join us on Sunday 30th October from 1.30 to 3.30 pm at the Cottonmill Community and Cycling Centre, off Cottonmill Lane.
